A Southern Door County School District Tax Levy Revenue question was defeated on the April 2, 2013 election ballot in Door County, which is in Wisconsin.
If approved, this measure would have authorized the school district of Southern Door County to increase it property tax levy revenue to exceed the state given limits by $700,000 in 2013-2014, $1,070,000 in 2014-2015 and $1,310,000 in 2015-2016 in order to fund general operating costs of the district.[1]

Text of the resolution to be approved or rejected:
| “ | BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of the Southern Door County School District, Door County, Wisconsin, that the revenues included in the School District budget be authorized to exceed the revenue limit specified in Section 121.91, Wisconsin Statutes, by $700,000 for the 2013-2014 school year; by $1,070,000 for the 2014-2015 school year; and by $1,310,000 for the 2015-2016 school year, for non-recurring purposes consisting of operating costs, maintenance projects and improving school security.[1][2] | ” |
