A Southern Door School District Revenue Override Measure was on the April 5, 2011 ballot in the Southern Door school district area which is in Door County.

This measure sought to allow the school district to exceed the state set revenue limit and operate under an override. This would have allowed the school to help with expected budget shortfalls in the district. The override would have been in place for two years. The first would have allowed for $400,000 over the set limit and the second year would have been $850,000.[2]
