There were two Sparta School District Tax Measures on the November 3 ballot in Christian County for voters in the city of Sparta.

The first ballot measure asked voters to allow the district to borrow $4.3 million in order to help fund the building of a new high school in the district. This would not raise taxes for district residents.

The second ballot measure sought to raise property taxes by 60 cents in order to also help fund the building of the new high school and help fund improvements on other buildings in the school district.[1]
