Candidate Connection

Spencer Dias participated in Ballotpedia's candidate survey on September 6, 2018. The survey questions appear in bold, and Spencer Dias' responses follow below.[1]

What would be your top three priorities, if elected?

1. Drug Policy Reform
2. Business and Economic Reform
3. Education Reform[2][3]

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? Why?

I'm passionate about drug policy reform and educational reform. New Hampshire is at the centre of the Opioid Epidemic and wish to solve this problem. For Education Reform, I am a current student at Saint Anselm College and a recent public school district graduate, I've seen the flaws in person.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many[3]

Ballotpedia also asked the candidate a series of optional questions. Spencer Dias answered the following:

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

An elected official should be honest and respect people's individual liberties and rights.[3]
What was your very first job? How long did you have it?
My first job was at Hannaford Supermarkets, and I got the job at 16.[3]
What do you perceive to be your state’s greatest challenges over the next decade?
1. Bringing back the 'New Hampshire Advantage' 2. Reigning in the government's debt.[3]
