|Spencer's interest in hunting and agriculture led to him earning a B.S. in Animal Science from Texas A&M University. After college, he took a position leading a Texas livestock auction barn. The experience from this position would carry with him as he decided to move back to the family farm in Indiahoma, OK in the 90's. He went on to manage the allies of Apache Livestock Auction and Stockman Oklahoma Livestock Commission at the Oklahoma National Stockyards, and ultimately led to a partnership in Apache Video Auction.
After meeting his wife, Spencer moved to Duncan OK and began to focus on growing his cow/calf operation. For a few years he operated an upland hunting preserve, but time restraints brought it to an end when the couple took over ownership of R&S Drug Stores. They now own and operate two pharmacies and run about 150 head cow/calf ranching operation.- Spencer is committed to preserving our conservative ideas. His expertise in agricultural policy and land stewardship make him a uniquely qualified candidate to champion the rights and needs of our rural communities.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
