Spencer Walsh
Spencer Walsh is a judge for the Utah First Judicial District serving Cache County, Utah. He was appointed to the court by Gov. Gary Herbert on Sep. 4, 2020.[1] Walsh was confirmed by the Utah State Senate on Oct. 22, 2020.
Education
Walsh received his J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark College of Law at Brigham Young University.[1]
Career
At the time of his appointment, Walsh served as the chief prosecutor for the Cache County Attorney’s Office. From 2009 to 2015, he was a deputy county attorney for the same office. He also served as a deputy prosecuting attorney for the West Valley City Attorney's Office. From 2010 to 2018, Walsh was an adjunct professor at the University of Rockies in Colorado Springs and San Diego University.[1]
