Sprague School District 8 Operation Tax Levy Replacement Proposition (February 2013)
A Sprague School District 8 Operation Tax Levy Replacement proposition was approved on the February 12, 2013 election ballot in Lincoln County, which is in Washington.
This proposition authorized the Spraque School District to impose a replacement property tax levy of $285,000 per year for two years in order to fund the general maintenance and operations of the District. The estimated rate for this tax is 3.48 mills ($3.48 per $1,000 of assessed valuation).[1]

| “ | A two-year levy: The Board of Directors of Sprague School District No. 8 adopted Resolution No. 4-2012, concerning a proposition to finance maintenance and operation expenses. This proposition would authorize the district to levy the following excess taxes, in place of an expiring levy, upon all taxable property within the district, for support of the district's General Fund education maintenance and operation expenses:[2] | ” |
