Two Springfield & Washington Township Fire Levy Replacement measures were on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the townships of Newton, Perry and Springfield which are in Muskingum County.
Both measures were approved
The Springfield measure sought to replace the current fire levy with one set at a rate .7 mills for a further five years in order to continue to pay for fire protection services in the township.
