A Springfield City Primary Election Charter Amendment measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the city of Springfield, which is in Greene County.
This measure was approved
- YES 12,098 (59.07%)
- NO 8,384 (40.93%)[1]
This measure, since it was approved, will get rid of February primary elections in the city and make it that if there are more than three candidates for a council seat the one with the most votes in the April election would win.[2]
