Springfield Township Fire Protection Tax Levy(4)(November 2012)
Three Springfield Township fire protection tax levies(4) were on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Gallia County, Ohio where they were approved.[1]
These measures renewed a tax levy not to exceed one mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to ten cents for each one hundred dollars of valuation for 5 years for fire protection. commencing in 2013 in Bidwell Precinct, Springfield Township 1, Springfield Township 2, and Springfield Township 3.

Language on the ballot:
“ | A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Springfield Township for the purpose of FIRE
PROTECTION at a rate not exceeding one (1) mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to ten cents ($0.10) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of five (5) years, commencing in 2013, first due in calendar year 2014.[1][2] |
