A Springfield Township Roads Tax Levy Increase question was on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Clark County, which is in Ohio, where it was defeated.
This question would have authorized the township of Springfield to increase property taxes by 1 mill ($1 per $1,000 of assessed valuation) for five years in order to fund street and road repair.[1]

Language on the ballot:
| “ | An additional tax for the benefit of Springfield Township for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of streets, roads and bridges at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.10 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2013, first due in calendar year 2014.
