A St. Charles School District Levy Transfer Measure was on the February 8, 2011 ballot in the St. Charles school district, which is in St. Charles County.
This measure was approved
- YES 2,305 (64.93%)
- NO 1,245 (35.07%)[1]
This measure sought to allow the school district to transfer money from its debt service fund to its operational fund. Overall taxes will not be increased in the district, money will just be moved to other areas for the school's use. The school district was hoping the city would need to hold a Mayoral runoff election that date so the costs of the special election will not be only paid by the school district.[2]
