I am a passionate and committed mother of 3 GPISD students, a proven community leader, and a former educator driven to do my part to improve our schools and community.

Education has been paramount to my successful matriculation through the Jesse H. Jones School of Business at Texas Southern University, where I received my Bachelor's in Business Administration in Accounting with an emphasis in Audit and Tax. I am pursuing my Master's in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, focusing on Leadership Development, Business Continuity, and Succession Planning. My education opened the door for a career in Quality, Regulatory, and Compliance that spanned over a decade before transitioning into education, training, and development.

I have held numerous board and leadership positions, including President of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.- Psi Zeta Chapter in Fort Worth, Health and Quality of Life Chair for the Dallas-Fort Worth Urban League Young Professionals, and Secretary of the Westchester Public Improvement District Board.

To ensure District resources including personnel and facilities, are properly and responsibly cared for.
The teachers, parents, students and employees of the district as well as every tax paying citizens within the district.
As a former auditor, I believe things are done in the dark because there is something to hide. I will be as open as possible about financial issues and remedy any discrepancies quickly and correctly.
