My top three priorities if elected are taking on the affordability crisis in New Jersey, protecting the environment for future generations, and modernizing our transportation system and fully funding NJTransit.
One area I’m passionate about is creating stronger environmental protections because if we don’t protect and improve the planet we live on, we will cease to exist. I also believe that in protecting the environment, we can positively affect other issues like creating a greener economy with new jobs, improving our public transportation to lessen car congestion and emissions, and investing in education for innovative technologies.
I look up to my mother and mother-in-law. I’m inspired by all my mom did for my sister and I as children and all she sacrificed for us. My mother-in-law broke so many barriers as a woman and a small business owner and she raised my husband to value and support strong women. My husband’s unwavering support of my new political endeavors keeps me going. I’m driven to keep going because I want to do everything I can to make the world a better place for our children.
