Stacey Hutchings
Stacey Hutchings was a member of the Utah State Board of Education, representing District 6. She assumed office on April 14, 2021. She left office on January 2, 2023.
Hutchings (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Utah State Board of Education to represent District 8. She lost in the Republican convention on April 23, 2022.
Biography
Education
Hutchings received her bachelor's degree in teaching from Brigham Young University, her master’s degree in educational studies from the University of Utah. and her master’s degree in educational leadership from Western Governors University.[1]
Career
Hutchings has worked as a history and Spanish teacher at Kearns Jr. High and Riverton High School. She has also worked as a founding teacher, and later as the head of the school, at the Utah Virtual Academy. Before her appointment to the Utah State Board of Education, she worked as the director and principal of Career Path High School.
