I am a progressive Democrat who wants to see positive changes for all of rural Utah. After supporting my father through his battle with cancer I decided that caring for people was more important than profit and redirected my career in that direction; I have been working with adults with disabilities for nearly 17 years. I have seen firsthand how you can do everything right and still fail in our current system. We are all one accident or illness away from not being able to support ourselves the way we always envisioned we would. I support family-oriented communities, ending corporate welfare, ending government overreach and corporate accountability. I believe wholeheartedly in liberty and justice for ALL people.
  • We have made life too complicated for the average American to enjoy (pursuit of happiness). I aim to support programs and legislation that eases the burden on everyday working people, families and any individual existing our society, success will follow.
  • Veterans in America are woefully under cared for. It is my belief that we should do everything in our power to treat our veterans with the dignity they deserve. (Liberty) I want to sponsor legislation that will keep veterans in Utah housed and healthy so they are properly compensated for their service to our country. No human should be unhoused and I want Utah to serve as the foremost example of this policy.
  • Diversity of thought in America should be celebrated and sought out; no one's personal choices should be restricted by the government as long as those choices do not harm another individual. (Justice for All) As a society we need to encourage people's choices to be respected, supported and even celebrated.
Affordability, veterans care, education, healthcare for all.
