|- I'm honest, trustworthy, and have a servant's heart. My entire adult life has been dedicated to serving the public in my professional and private life.
- I'm a good listener and skilled mediator. As a legislator, I will strive to reach across the aisle to find common ground to develop responsible and fair legislation.
- I have no desire to become a career politician. I'm just an average citizen who wants to see the government working for the people again, not for big money, corporate interests, or divisive political agendas.
For the brightest future in our Commonwealth, it is critical that we ensure all students have access to fully funded public education and the most skilled educators. We need a leader who also understands that protecting our public employee pensions is vital to attracting and retaining those most skilled educators.
Access to Affordable Healthcare:
Citizens in Meade and Hardin County, like all Kentuckians, depend on having stable, affordable healthcare. We need a leader committed to fighting against insurers who want to take advantage of vulnerable families in our Commonwealth, especially those with pre-existing conditions.
Fair Tax Policy :
Tax reform has too often sought to profit the wealthiest individuals and corporations instead of everyday people. It is time for tax policy to benefit all Kentuckians. To keep more money in the pockets of working families, we need a leader who will advocate for fair, sensible tax policies.
