Stacy Head
Stacy Head was an at-large Democratic member of the New Orleans City Council in Louisiana. She was elected to hold the at-large seat for a partial term in a special election on April 21, 2012, and won election to a full term on February 1, 2014. Previously, Head held the District B seat on city council from 2006 to 2012.[1] She did not seek re-election in 2017.[2]

Elections for the city council of New Orleans, Louisiana consisted of a primary election on February 1, 2014, and a general election on March 15, 2014. Incumbent Stacy Head (D) defeated Eugene Green (D) in the blanket primary. Because she received more than 50 percent of the vote, a runoff was not necessary.[3][4]
