Elections for the Michigan House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election was held on August 5, 2014, and a general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was April 22, 2014. Sherry Gay-Dagnogo defeated five other challengers in the Democratic primary. Christopher Ewald was unopposed in the Republican primary. Gay-Dagnogo defeated Ewald in the general election.[2][3][1][4]

Pugh was a Democratic candidate for District 10 in the Michigan House of Representatives in the November 2, 2010, state legislative elections. Pugh was defeated in the Democratic primary on August 3, 2010, by Harvey Santana.[5]
