Stacy Street is a criminal court judge for the First Judicial District Criminal Court. The court presides over Carter, Johnson, Unicoi, and Washington counties in Tennessee. He was appointed by Governor Bill Haslam on April 16, 2013, to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Lynn W. Brown.[1] Street was elected to the court on August 7, 2014, to an eight-year term expiring in 2022.[2][3]

Education

Street received his undergraduate degree from East Tennessee State University and his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law.[1]

Career

After graduating from law school in 1992, Street worked at the firm Hampton & Hampton in Elizabethton, Tennessee. In 2009, he left the firm to establish his solo practice, where he worked until his appointment to the bench.[1]
