Stan Crippen represents Trustee Area 1 on the Lake Elsinore Unified School District Board of Trustees in California. He was first appointed to the board in June 2010.[1]

Crippen ran unopposed and won re-election by default in the general election on November 4, 2014.[2][3]

Crippen is a retired high school teacher. He taught in the Lake Elsinore Unified School District for 33 years and now works as an educational consultant. Crippen's six children and six grandchildren attended schools in the district.[4][5]

Three at-large seats on the Lake Elsinore Unified School District Board of Trustees were up for general election on November 4, 2014. No challengers filed to run in the election, leaving incumbents Stan Crippen, Heidi Matthies Dodd and Tom Thomas to run unopposed and win re-election by default.

Results

This election was canceled due to lack of opposition. Incumbents Stan Crippen, Heidi Matthies Dodd and Tom Thomas from Trustee Areas 1, 3 and 5, respectively, were re-election by default.[6]

Funding

Crippen filed Form 470 with the Riverside County Registrar of Voters, indicating he did not intend to raise or spend more than $1,000 for his 2014 campaign. Because of this, Crippen did not have to file any additional campaign finance reports.[7]
