Stan Giles was a candidate for the District 7 seat on the Blount County Board of Education in Tennessee. The general election was held on August 7, 2014.
Biography
Giles has served 26 years in the Air Force. He was transferred seven years ago to the McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base. He is married and has two children.[1]

The August 7, 2014 general election ballot for District 1 included Sammy Humphrey, Terry Hurst, Joe McCulley and Debbie Sudhoff. Incumbent Charles Finley ran unopposed on the District 3 ballot. The District 5 ballot included incumbent Don McNelly and challenger Scott Helton. The District 7 ballot included Dennis Cardin, Stan Giles and Fred Goins.
Funding
Giles did not file a campaign finance report with the Blount County Election Commission.[2]
