Stan had the honor of serving the great people of Washington County, for over 2 decades as their elected Treasurer. During his tenure, he served in many leadership and advisory roles. Stan was instrumental in transforming the efficiency in which the courthouse operated, by implementing the first IT system. He was also honored to serve in some of the following positions:

• Chairman, Washington County GOP party for 2 terms. • Treasurer, State of Oklahoma Republican Party • Sponsored the Young Republicans • President, Oklahoma County Treasurer’s Association. • President, PSU Alumni Bartlesville Chapter • Arvest Bank Advisory Board • Center for Local Government Technology at Oklahoma State University Advisory Board • President, Big Brother’s & Sister’s • President, The Lion’s Club • President, County Officer’s and Deputy’s Association - First 2 term President in State history.

In the past 12 plus year’s, Stan has been working in the Real Estate industry, along side Tulsa’s, Darryl Baskin. His primary market is residential sales, in the Tulsa Metro and Northeastern Oklahoma area. He has become one of the area’s most reliable and successful short sale experts. He has helped hundred’s of Oklahoma family’s avoid foreclosure. It was during a “short sale” where Stan would encounter, Jenifer, on the other side of a sale. God had a plan, in 2016 they would join their families. Together, they have 5 kids between them and have 9 incredible Grandkids.
  • Education reforms. Shift the powers back to the parents. Leadership has failed for 2 sessions on passing legislation that would move School Board Election’s onto the general election ballot. They believe less than 10% voter turnout is adequate. Oklahomans don’t deserve competition from better, more qualified candidates. Regulation is needed over bond/special election schedules. Create mentorship programs in high schools that can count as electives. This would give them access to a variety of industry leaders, hands on experience in what it takes to be your own boss. Implementation of this with household budgeting and how decisions impact their finances. Help create pathways for independent, successful young people, post high school.
  • Small business in Oklahoma should be a National standard. Our low cost of living, labor and retail space, is just opportunity waiting for real creation. Small business lending practices have by and large, always been less than friendly. Oklahoma needs an incentive laden package that offers real, impactful incentives for our citizen’s who invest in themselves and Oklahoma. Offering quarterly courses for Oklahoma entrepreneurship, small business guides and connection’s on everything needed to be a success. Having a diverse and exciting small business community also bolsters our tourism economic impact.
  • Personal freedom and Civil Liberty. Our elected official’s, should answer one question prior to casting a vote on any legislation; “will this improve the lives of the People?” If the answer is yes, an additional question should follow; “Is this necessary?” While some things might be good, they aren’t often necessary. We learn as kid’s the difference between a “Want” and a “Need.” Finally, you should ask “will this bill infringe on our personal rights or civil liberties? Will it be worth the price?” If our elected officials are putting forth legislation that that willingly agree is an infringement on our personal rights, it better be worth taking a very public stand for.
Stan has degree in Business with a major in Finance. While Washington continues making devastating economic decisions, harshly impacting those among us who can least afford it, Stan believes Oklahoma should be implementing practice’s that insulate its citizens from the rising costs from the Bureaucracy of bad choices. Common sense, transparent business practices that are a common thread throughout all State agencies should be the expectation of the Oklahoma taxpayer. Seeing how every dollar of our hard earned money is spent, having the ability in many cases to have input on where and how that money is spent (Swadleys Foggy Bottom) gives everyone a feeling of accountability. The corruption must stop. Increasing our resources for the Bureau of Narcotics, ensuring they have the resources it needed for expansion - with a considerable increase in Investigators and Detectives. The flow of illicit drugs from the Southern Border is taking the lives of our children and loved ones. Counterfeit Fentanyl is in every where in Oklahoma, deadly in almost every Overdose encounter. Mark Woodward, spokesman for OBN, states Meth is the single most deadly drug in Oklahoma. If elected, Stan will Author legislation that makes death from illicit Fentanyl a Homicide. This should not be considered an overdose and measured with the other overdose statistics.
Winston Churchill, he faced insurmountable odds, was often at odds with those in his party. He had an unapologetic manner in which he conducted himself, yet it generally always worked out for the better. He was a true Patriot. He deeply cared about his People and the Soldiers. He had this unmatched ability to bring people together with his words.

My Dad. He served in Korea and is 93 yrs old. I’m so fortunate he’s still here and getting to experience this candidacy with me. He has always been the leader of our family, done so with God leading his every decision. He truly embodies, Faith, Family and Freedom. He’s a man who loves those words, in full, everyday of his life. He has had long-running history being involved with Oklahoma politics. Whether Chairing the party, hosting fundraiser’s or being a reliable voice our leader’s can depend on, my Dad has served in whatever capacity God lead’s him.

My wife, Jenifer. I met Jenifer, a couple year’s after the death of my first wife, Jeanna. Jeanna had been the driving force behind much of my success, especially my elections during my time serving as Treasurer. Her loss left a tremendous void in all the family, especially my 3 kids. Jenifer, had been through a tremendous battle with her progressive Multiple Sclerosis, yet you’d never know by the way she carries herself. When we were in the middle of planning our wedding for March 2016, Jenifer would loose all her site 10 months before our wedding. Not knowing if this was permanent, she taught herself how to cook, navigate and even do her makeup! She deals with tremendous pain everyday, many days, she’s unable too leave the bed. Yet here we are, she’s my biggest supporter in this race, she is a big reason why I’m running. We can do so much more for those living with chronic illness. She’s an advocate for other patient’s, we should be advocating for them. MS is one of the most expensive, incurable illness a person can have. We can help those who suffer.
The qualities that have made me a successful officeholder are knowing when and how to listen. Gathering facts and information, in order to make informed, educated decisions. On the other side of that is learning when you need to use your voice, how you use it and when it’s most effective. Talking, just for the sake of grandstanding is not generally helpful in affecting change for the people. Being accessible, available, accountable and transparent in dealing with your constituents is critical. You are representing their voice, their needs, their lives in our Capitol. Those who hold office and are only available to the highest bidder, special interests and lobbyist’s are not representing the People of Oklahoma! We’re entrusted with an awesome responsibility, it’s an honor and we take an oath before God that we will perform these duties. Those who do not, should lose that privilege.
Be accessible, be accountable, be prepared and vigilant in the representation of your constituents. You are elected as their representation. You are THEIR VOICE. It is an awesome responsibility, it’s incumbent upon each elected official to understand the duty of the office and perform at the highest level. Sadly, we have far too many who’ve used their power and platform in the benefit of self service, instead of public service. I will fight the corruption at our Capitol, be a responsible and transparent CFO with our taxpayer money, as I have been previously, and ensure that the waste and self benefiting programs come to an end.
The assassination of John F. Kennedy. I was in the First grade, it literally gripped the Nation. Living in such close proximity to Dallas, just made it seem within reach at that age. Being born into a Republican family, patriotism and faith was something we discussed in my family quite frequently. His death impacted everyone, regardless of political affiliation; they were broken.
At 13, I convinced my parent’s to let me get a job throwing a paper route. I had the job until I was 16 and began working in a hotel kitchen. That job was a great learning experience, especially for a kid. I was responsible for picking up the papers everyday, rolling and banding them, throwing and collecting payment for subscriptions. As a kid, I was terribly introverted. This required me to interact with the parents of many of the kids I attended school with, and face the fear I had of speaking with many. I worked everyday and saved my money. I ultimately ended up buying my first motorcycle, this made my work throwing the route much more efficient.
I don’t know about a fictional character, however, my wife calls me “Pretty Princess” which happens to be catching on with everyone. I happen to like nice, tailored suits. I don’t see anything wrong with that. It might have been the fact that I would have my wife join me in my closet and gaze upon my beautiful wardrobe, lined in perfectly color coordinated. I might also refer to them as “my pretties!” 🥴
You don’t expect to lose a spouse in a car accident. When it happens, it’s indescribable. The Officer’s working the scene all knew me from my time in office, so I received a call that my wife has been in an accident, she died instantly. They called because they knew our 3 kids all could potentially pass the scene, that couldn’t happen. The calls I had to make too each of my kids, was like a nightmare come true. It was in December, Christmas around the corner and the day was also my Mother’s Birthday. You just can’t prepare for what life will be like after you go through a sudden loss. The questions you ask yourself, maybe you could’ve prevented it somehow, if only you had said or done something just a little bit differently that day.
Repairing our broken pubic education system. Elected official’s who continue catering to the Union, Lobbyists and special interest groups deserve the largest percentage of the blame. We’ve seen educational priorities shift from student proficiency in Reading Comprehension, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. Students can’t have homework, aren’t required to supply correct answers to questions; they’re graded on effort vs. accuracy. Student’s being sent out into the world with 3rd grade reading comprehension, how can we let this happen? We’ve ignored the plea of our dedicated classroom educators. We’ve designated them “glorified babysitters” instead of the career professional’s they truly are. Now, we’re at a critical juncture; teachers leaving the classroom en mass. We simply don’t have the resources to replace them, We must start by giving our educators meaningful, livable salaries. Offering incentives for High School and College student’s who choose education as their majors and STAY in Oklahoma to teach. We need Mentorship programs in all public schools, but especially our lower performing. When kids don’t have adults at home who are personally vested in their education, it makes learning hard for many. By helping them make those crucial connections, get a hands-on education in entrepreneurship and give them the opportunity to pursue the best course of secondary education; we will give them a real pathway towards success. The sooner we start helping make those connections for kids, the more likely they will become independent, successful individuals. Without proper, successful education, Oklahoma cannot thrive. Businesses won’t locate their headquarters here, family’s don’t have desire to relocate their kids to subpar schools. World class education is the catalyst for our business success, real estate appreciation and becoming a leader in industry. We are the steward’s of their future. Statewide, student proficiency is failing across the board.
I believe when you’re running for office at the State level, experience is vital. Having a strong understanding of the inner-workings at the County/Municipal level; helps prepare one for the complexities that will be awaiting you at State level. We need pubic servants who are truly there, in service of the public. Our founders, risked everything in creating this Nation we love. The Founders weren’t feathering their nests, elevating their personal standing with the founding of our Nation, they knew, if successful, the future generations would have opportunities they could only dream of. I believe it is incumbent upon us to create a better Oklahoma for the future generations. That requires understanding and experience of complex issues. It requires listening when needed and being the loudest voice when required. Having a background that connects you with your constituents, on a true level of understanding, makes leading more effective. I’ve built a career in dedication to the people. From my time as Treasurer, where I co-authored legislation removing personal property from our taxes; to my Real Estate, where I have helped hundred’s of Oklahoma family’s avoid Foreclosure. Living on commission income is a considerably different life than knowing every time you go too work, you will be paid, on a schedule you’ve become dependent upon. Having a spouse that’s sick, navigating our healthcare system and the ever increasing costs of care of medications; these are common issues Oklahoman’s face. Having a Representative who can truly fight on your behalf, who has the professional experience/education and proven leadership; in addition to the the lived experience that connects you, creates the best leaders. Getting that start in County/Municipal Government is an education and experience I find extremely invaluable.
With a background in finance, managing the expansive accounts of Washington County, I would relish a position in any financial committee. Fiscal responsibility, transparency and accountability is something we should expect from all our State agencies.

Having the opportunity to serve the people, in any committee, should the opportunity present itself, would be an honor.
The respect I have for Henry Bellmon, cannot be understated. He served for the betterment of the people, even when it incredibly difficult and his vote would be the deciding factor in major matters of the time. He was a true Statesman. I had the honor of meeting and getting acquainted with him, over Mazzio’s Pizza. He was integral in the establishment of vocational education, what we refer to as Career Tech now. He had the foresight to know University education was not accessible or available to everyone, gaining technical training was an area that we would always be in need of. He was Oklahomas first Republican Governor, elected in 1962. He served a single term, then went on to serve 2 terms in the US Senate. He was then elected to his 2nd term as Oklahoma Governor in 1986, just 24 years after his first term. He’s best known for the sweeping reforms HB1017 made in public education during his 2nd term. He was a fierce advocate for education.
We used to compromise. Bipartisan support of legislation, co-authoring of bills, etc. We have become so divided, so unwilling to meet in middle and have true discussions with respect for one another. I understand that there’s issue’s that make compromise very difficult for both sides, however, I think it will only benefit our future generations, those who feeling the calling for public service, if we can begin finding pathway’s towards a cohesive relationship.
