Stanford "Stan" Blake was a judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Civil Division, in Florida. He was elected to the court on September 8, 1994, and took office in early 1995.[1][2][3][4] Blake retired from the court on August 31, 2016.[5]

Education

Blake received his B.S. degree from the University of Florida in 1970 and his J.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1973.[3]

Career

Blake began his career in 1973 as an Assistant Public Defender. He then worked as a private practice lawyer from 1978 until he was elected to the circuit court in 1994.[3]

2012 election

Blake was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[6]
