I am Stanley Campbell, a proud native Floridian endorsed by Florida AFL-CIO, the IUPA, Local 6020, the Democratic Black Caucus of Florida, and over 50 former and current elected officials. Growing up in Liberty City, Miami, with Jamaican and Bahamian parents, I learned the values of dedication and public service from an early age.

My career spans several fields, including the U.S. Navy, NASA, healthcare, and AI and cybersecurity. As a graduate of Florida A&M University, I made a significant contribution at age 19 by creating an algorithm for Voyager 2, which is now in interstellar space. My journey continued as a U.S. Navy pilot, where I commanded the TACAMO platform. I later served on NASA's Executive Advisory Board and at the Defense Intelligence Agency, where my work in TSA's passenger screening enhanced national security protocols. With 14 AI patents focused on saving lives, I have also led a national healthcare IT company that prevents $120 million in Medicare fraud penalties daily.

Philanthropy is a vital part of my life. I have flown aid missions to Haiti and Puerto Rico, donated over 50,000 phones with a COVID-19 tracking app for agricultural and migrant communities, and supported the Eagleforce Warrior Foundation to help veterans transition to civilian life. My wife, Cheryl Campbell, Assistant Secretary of Administration for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and I have been married for 35 years, and we are the proud parents of sons.
  • Healthcare: Access to quality healthcare is a cornerstone of a thriving society. Without it, individuals cannot maintain their health, productivity, or quality of life. The current system’s shortcomings, such as high costs and limited access, disproportionately affect the most vulnerable populations. By prioritizing healthcare, we can ensure that every American has the opportunity to lead a healthy life, reduce economic disparities, and prevent medical issues from becoming financial crises. Comprehensive healthcare reform is essential for the well-being and prosperity of our nation. My decade plus of healthcare expertise and breakthroughs give me insights that are unparalleled in this race and in the U.S. Senate.
  • Social Security and Medicare: These programs are vital for ensuring that our senior citizens can live with dignity and security after retirement. Social Security and Medicare provide essential financial and medical support to millions of Americans, many of whom rely on these benefits as their primary source of income and healthcare. As our population ages, it is more important than ever to protect and strengthen these programs. Prioritizing Social Security and Medicare ensures that we honor the social contract with our citizens, providing them with the necessary support after a lifetime of contributions to our society.
  • National Security: A secure nation is fundamental to the preservation of our freedoms and way of life. In an era of evolving threats, from terrorism to cyber-attacks to natural disasters, it is imperative to maintain a robust and adaptable national security strategy. In my military service as a US Navy pilot on the most strategic air command in the military (TACAMO) and my service in the intelligence community, I gained critical insight into the dangers our nation faces. This experience gives me a unique perspective on the complexities of national security and the importance of proactive measures. Ensuring the safety of our citizens, protecting our infrastructure, and maintaining global stability are paramount for our national interests.

Financial responsibility involves the prudent management of financial resources, ensuring expenditures align with revenues and avoiding unnecessary debt, while government accountability requires transparent, ethical governance where officials are answerable for their actions and decisions, ensuring public trust and integrity. Both principles are essential for sustainable economic policies and effective public administration.
The best characteristic principles of an elected official include integrity, transparency, and accountability, ensuring that they act honestly and openly while taking responsibility for their actions. They should prioritize public service over personal gain, demonstrating a commitment to the well-being and interests of their constituents. Empathy and strong communication skills are essential for understanding and addressing the diverse needs of the community. Additionally, a deep understanding of policy and a proactive approach to problem-solving, coupled with a collaborative spirit, enable them to effectively navigate and address complex issues. Finally, adaptability and resilience allow them to respond to changing circumstances and challenges with determination and innovation.
The core principles for elected officials should include serving the public interest with integrity, accountability, and transparency. They must prioritize the well-being of their constituents, uphold the rule of law, and make decisions based on fairness and justice. Additionally, they should engage with their communities, listen to diverse perspectives, and work collaboratively to address pressing issues.
I spent some of the happiest days of my early life as a paperboy for the Miami Herald, thanks to my brother. Those mornings, delivering newspapers around the neighborhood, were filled with a sense of adventure and joy.
America's greatest challenge is balancing the rapid advancement of new technologies with the needs of our world. At the same time, we must ensure that essential services like healthcare, Social Security, and Medicare keep pace and do not fall behind.
Term limits can reinvigorate our democracy by introducing new perspectives and ideas into the political arena. However, the conversation about how best to implement and address these limits is complex and requires careful consideration. It's important to balance the benefits of fresh leadership with the need for experienced lawmakers who can navigate the complexities of governance effectively.
The U.S. Senate is unique for its role in representing states equally, with each state having two senators regardless of population size. This structure balances power between smaller and larger states. Its long terms of six years provide stability and allow senators to focus on long-term issues. The Senate also has exclusive powers, such as confirming judicial appointments and ratifying treaties, which underscore its distinct influence on federal governance. I am uniquely positioned for this body.
Yes. In my extensive work in healthcare, I played a crucial role in passing the Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act alongside conservative U.S. Senator Cassidy from Louisiana. This bipartisan effort reflects not only my commitment to addressing addiction and recovery but also my ability to drive meaningful policy change.
The filibuster is a barrier to passing significant legislation. Reforming or eliminating it could facilitate progress on various critical issues facing the country.
In my life, I’ve always been committed to continuous growth and learning from individuals who can broaden and refine my thought processes. Rather than focusing on any single senator, I draw inspiration and insights from a diverse range of people who challenge and elevate my perspectives.
My criteria would be ass follows: Legal Expertise, experience, integrity, analytical skills, judicial temperament and commitment to justice.
As a U.S. Senator, I am committed to fostering collaborative relationships, recognizing that working together is essential for driving the transformative changes our nation needs.
In the U.S. Senate, where compromise is not just necessary but essential for effective governance, delivering results for the American people is of utmost importance. This chamber stands as the pivotal arena where diverse viewpoints must converge to form solutions that address the needs and aspirations of the nation. In this context, compromise becomes not only a strategic approach but a fundamental obligation to ensure that the voices of all Americans are heard and acted upon.
The U.S. Senate should leverage its investigative powers to address significant issues within the judicial and executive branches, as well as tackle any existential threats facing our nation.
I am proud to have received endorsements from the Florida AFL-CIO, the Democratic Black Caucus of Florida, the International Union of Police Association Local 6020, the Broward Deputy Sheriffs Association, and over 50 former and current elected officials.
My only criteria would be: possessing the necessary qualifications and expertise for the appointed position.
The Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, HELP, Committee on Armed Services, Committee on Foreign Relations Subcommittee on National Security and International Trade and Finance and Subcommittee on Securities, Insurance, and Investment
Financial responsibility should involve the prudent management of financial resources, ensuring expenditures align with revenues and avoiding unnecessary debt, while government accountability requires transparent, ethical governance where officials are answerable for their actions and decisions, ensuring public trust and integrity. Campaign website

Campbell’s campaign website stated the following:

Our Solutions

Stanley Campbell believes in a better Florida.
From protecting Medicare, ensuring affordable healthcare, housing, and a quality education that respects our national history, to safeguarding and securing equal freedoms and justice under the law, Stanley is committed to building that better Florida for all, so no one feels left behind.

Proposing innovative solutions to address the pressing issues of our time, his track record of successful advocacy for affordable housing, veteran support, and small business growth demonstrates his dedication to improving the lives of all Floridians.

Medicare & Healthcare
Protecting and Expanding Medicare
Using proprietary technology, Stanley’s national healthcare technology company has prevented over half a trillion dollars of Medicare fraud, $120 million per DAY. Those are dollars that can be used to save and expand this vital federal program for the 4.9 million Floridians currently enrolled.

Prioritizing Women's Health as Family Health
A woman’s health directly impacts the health of her family. Protecting women’s healthcare choices including the sovereignty women have over their own bodies, and how we preventatively keep mothers and infants healthy and lower maternal and infant mortality rates, particularly for low income and minority families, is a top priority.

Improving Access to Affordable, Quality Healthcare
Access to affordable, quality healthcare through the federal government’s insurance exchange is critical for Floridians. Stanley will work diligently to expand coverage and combat any efforts to repeal the ACA. He will also work to keep costs down for life-saving medications, increase access to culturally sensitive care for our minority and low income families and rural communities, and work to expand coverage for at-home monitoring for prenatal care and those experiencing cardiovascular and endocrinological issues.

Social Security
Preserving Social Security
Preserving the integrity of programs like Social Security, along with Medicare, for our current seniors and for generations to come is one of Stanley’s highest priorities. Unlike his opponent who sought to sunset these vital federal programs, Stanley will fight to secure the commitment our country made to caring for our older citizens.

Enhanced Cost of Living Adjustments
Stanley will work to enhance benefits for seniors in Florida so they receive the financial support they need for a comfortable retirement. He will support efforts to adjust social security benefits to keep pace with the rising cost of living.

Expanded Access for Healthcare and Prescriptions
Stanley will explore all options for expanding access to affordable healthcare and prescription drug coverage for those on social security.

Economy
Small Businesses Development
Florida ranks second in terms of the best states for entrepreneurship. According to the Small Business Administration (SBA), there were close to 3 million small businesses in Florida in 2020 employing over 3.5 million people. Providing tax incentives, investing in infrastructure, and working to expand access to both private and public capital to help these businesses succeed are the keys to spurring job growth and expanding our economy.

Tackling Our Housing and Insurance Crises
According to a 2022 Florida Housing Coalition report there were only 25 affordable rental units in Florida for every 100 extremely low-income renters, and over 27,000 unhoused individuals and 90,000 students without permanent housing in our state. Moreover, when they do secure housing, more than 2.1 million low-income Florida households pay more than 30% of their incomes for a roof over their heads. More than a million of them spend more than 50% of their earnings. Tackling the housing and insurance crises to reduce housing costs for all Floridians is an imperative.

Livable Wages, Good Job Opportunities, Access to Technology and Affordable Food
Florida’s cost of living is one of the highest in the nation. Bringing good jobs to our State that provide a livable wage by creating innovations in workforce training that attract all levels of jobs here is a priority. Investing in upgrading digital infrastructure for high-speed internet accessibility and affordability for everyone is also important. Helping to keep the cost of herbicides and pesticides down for farmers will also help keep locally grown food affordable for Floridians.

Veterans & Military
Military Pay and Promotions
Our service personnel ask only two things from us in return for their service, their pay and promotions, because they depend on them to take care of their families. Stanley will work to ensure that their best interests are not bargained with nor stalled in Congress.

Veterans’ Access to Quality Healthcare, Housing and Jobs
As a veteran, Stanley understands the importance of access to the best medical care, education, housing and job opportunities, particularly for veterans living in rural communities.

Modernized Equipment and Infrastructure
Stanley is committed to investing in modernizing our military’s equipment and infrastructure to keep pace with evolving security issues is key to minimizing threats for our active duty military personnel.

Education
Funding Public Education and Increased Teacher Pay
Education is the key to economic opportunity and community development. Stanley will advocate for increased funding for public schools and promote policies that reduce class sizes, increase teacher pay in order to attract and retain qualified teachers.

Student Loan Debt Relief
Stanley will work to tie student loan debt relief to a federal jobs program, and to broaden loan forgiveness and refinancing options. Stanley also will push for an expansion in access to grants and scholarships, trade schools and financial literacy programs which will help our youth develop critical skills without endangering their financial future.

Promoting Vocational Training
Stanley will advocate for scholarships for and funding of vocational training programs to equip students with the skills needed for high-demand and good paying jobs.

Justice
Justice Reform
According to a University of Chicago report, the U.S. has the highest incarceration rate in the world with 2.3 million Americans behind bars. Stanley will work to promote a common sense approach to rehabilitation instead of incarceration.

Diversion Programs as an Alternative to Incarceration
According to the National Institute of Corrections recidivism rates for youth offenders are significantly reduced when Diversion Programs are utilized rather than incarceration and may lead to long-term improved safety for communities. Stanley will support the expansion of diversion programs that have demonstrated efficacy in reducing recidivism.

Mental Health Resources
Nationwide, the percentage of individuals suffering from mental health disorders is higher in incarcerated populations than in the general population. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, two out of every five prisoners suffers from a mental illness, yet access to treatment in prisons remains challenging. Stanley will advocate for greater access in order to avoid incarceration and reduce recidivism. [2]
