Wiles ran for the District 59 seat in the state House in 2012. He was defeated by Caleb Correll in the August 7 Democratic primary. Blaine Finch defeated District 10 incumbent Terri Lois Gregory in the Republican primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]
