State rep. joins crowded Georgia congressional race

Atlanta, Georgia: Georgia Rep. Jeff Chapman (R) filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to seek contributions in his campaign for the First Congressional seat of Jack Kingston (R). Kingston's seat in Congress will be open as he runs for the United States Senate position of the retiring Saxby Chambliss (R). Chapman is the fifth Republican to join the race for Georgia's 1st Congressional District.[1]
