Stephan Hay (Democratic Party) was a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 3rd Worcester District. Hay assumed office on March 9, 2016. Hay left office on January 6, 2021.
Hay (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Massachusetts House of Representatives to represent the 3rd Worcester District. Hay won in the general election on November 6, 2018.
Hay was first elected to the chamber in a special election on March 1, 2016. He was sworn in to the chamber on March 9, 2016.[1]

Special election
A special election for the position of Massachusetts House of Representatives Third Worcester District was called for March 1. A primary election took place on February 2. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was December 29, 2015.[6]
The seat was vacant following Stephen DiNatale's (D) election to be the Mayor of Fitchburg in the November 2015 general election.
Stephan Hay defeated Kimatra Maxwell and Joseph Byrne in the Democratic primary.[7] Dean Tran (write-in) defeated write-in candidate Stephen P. Sandrelli in the Republican primary. Hay defeated Tran in the special election.[8][9][10][11][12]
