Stephanie Ann Mitterhoff is a judge for Part D of the New Jersey Superior Court Appellate Division. She assumed office on August 1, 2018.

Prior to her appointment, Mitterhoff served on the Civil Division of the Vicinage 5 Superior Court in New Jersey. The court presides over Essex County.[1] She was nominated to the court by Governor Chris Christie (R) and confirmed by the New Jersey State Senate on August 18, 2014.[2][3] In June 2021, the New Jersey State Senate confirmed the reappointment of Mitterhoff, allowing her to serve on the court until the mandatory retirement age of 70.[4]

Education

Mitterhoff received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1987 and her J.D. from the Rutgers University School of Law in 1998.[5][6]
