For the last decade, I've been serving the citizens of Fort Wayne, advocating for the City on the local, state, and federal levels. My entire career has been focused on local government--as a public finance attorney, an advocate, and the director of intergovernmental affairs. I'm ready to continue my service as an At-Large member of the Fort Wayne City Council.

Fort Wayne has always meant family to me with my mom growing up in this area and now that I'm raising my three young sons with my husband here. I believe Fort Wayne can be a place where neighbors and friends become like family in supporting each other to use their gifts and talents to make us a stronger community. I believe this because it's what has happened for me and what I hope happens with everyone here.

I've worked on increasing HOPE in Fort Wayne--health, opportunity, and prosperity for everyone. As the economic security chair for the Women's Fund and a board member of United Way of Allen County, I want every person to have the opportunity to thrive and know they are appreciated, valued, and respected.

I want to make sure Fort Wayne is truly a city for all where each person feels like they belong here.
  • Safe neighborhoods everywhere: Investments in sidewalks, trails, alleys, streets, and roads are key to improving our neighborhoods and connecting us with our neighbors.
  • Housing across the city: We must increase housing options so first-time buyers can afford a house, families can thrive, and seniors can age in place.
  • An Economy that works for all: Fort Wayne only grows by retaining the valuable workers we have and attracting new ones.
My passion is local government and how it ties into all areas of public policy. In my current role, I work on issues related to workforce, infrastructure, neighborhoods, climate, immigration, transportation, federal funding, and much more. I'm working hard to make sure that every person in Fort Wayne also has the ability to pursue their passions to strengthen our city. I also try to educate my neighbors about the role government can have in addressing and convening people to tackle complex community challenges.
