|Fort Wayne has always meant family to me with my mom growing up in this area and now that I'm raising my three young sons with my husband here. I believe Fort Wayne can be a place where neighbors and friends become like family in supporting each other to use their gifts and talents to make us a stronger community. I believe this because it's what has happened for me and what I hope happens with everyone here.
I've worked on increasing HOPE in Fort Wayne--health, opportunity, and prosperity for everyone. As the economic security chair for the Women's Fund and a board member of United Way of Allen County, I want every person to have the opportunity to thrive and know they are appreciated, valued, and respected.
I want to make sure Fort Wayne is truly a city for all where each person feels like they belong here.- Safe neighborhoods everywhere: Investments in sidewalks, trails, alleys, streets, and roads are key to improving our neighborhoods and connecting us with our neighbors.
- Housing across the city: We must increase housing options so first-time buyers can afford a house, families can thrive, and seniors can age in place.
- An Economy that works for all: Fort Wayne only grows by retaining the valuable workers we have and attracting new ones.
