Stephanie L. Zaro is a judge for the New York City Criminal Court of Queens County, New York. She was appointed to this position in February of 2008 and was reappointed in January of 2010.[1][2]
Education
Zaro received her undergraduate degree from John Jay University and her J.D. degree from the Cardozo Law School (1982).[1][2]
Career
Zaro began her career working in the Inspector General's Office of the New York City Department of Finance. She then worked as an Assistant Queens County District Attorney from 1984 to 1987. From 1988 until her judicial appointment in 2008, she was a private practice criminal defense attorney.[1][2]
