Elections for the Virginia House of Delegates took place in 2015. A primary election was held on June 9, 2015. The general election took place on November 3, 2015. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 26, 2015.[2] Lamont Bagby defeated Stephen Adkins and Leonidas Young in the Democratic primary. David Lambert ran as an independent candidate. Bagby won election to the seat in a special election on July 21, 2015. Bagby defeated Lambert in the general election.[3][4]
