Stephen Burke
Stephen Burke was a 2014 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 21st Congressional District of New York.[1] Although Burke filed with the New York Board of Elections, officials found 175 invalid signatures, which put him below the minimum requirement.[2]. Burke attempted to overturn the board's decision, but the judge dismissed the case altogether, so Burke was removed from the primary, leaving Aaron Woolf to run unopposed on the Democratic ticket.[3]
