Stephen Sanders Chandler, Jr. (1899-1989) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.

Chandler was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on February 1, 1943, to a new seat created by 54 Stat. 219; he was confirmed by the Senate on May 10, 1943, and received commission on May 13. He served as chief judge from 1956-1969. He assumed senior status on October 20, 1975, and served in that capacity until his death on April 27, 1989.[1] Chandler was succeeded in this position by Ralph Thompson.
