Stephen Cox
Stephen Cox (Republican Party) is the Attorney General of Alaska. He assumed office on August 29, 2025. His current term ends on December 7, 2026.
Governor of Alaska Mike Dunleavy (R) appointed Cox Attorney General of Alaska on August 28, 2025 to replace Treg Taylor.[1]
Biography
Stephen Cox's career experience includes working as the chief legal officer at Bristol Bay Industrial. He was the principal attorney for Apache Alaska. Cox earned a B.S. in computer science from Texas A&M University and a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.[2]
