Stephen E. Benson is a judge for the Superior Court of Butte County in California. Benson was re-elected in 2012 and his current term will expire in January of 2019.[1]

Benson received a bachelor's degree from Pacific Union College and a J.D. from Western State University.[2]
2012 election
Benson ran for re-election to the superior court in 2012. As an unopposed incumbent, his name did not appear on the ballot. After the primary election, Benson was automatically re-elected.[3]
