In 2010, he was a candidate for State Treasurer.[1]

Covert ran in the 2012 election for Oklahoma House District 101. Covert ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on June 26 and was defeated by incumbent Gary Banz in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4][5]

On November 2, 2010, Ken Miller won election to the office of Oklahoma Treasurer. He defeated Stephen E. Covert (D) in the general election.
