Stephen Frost
Stephen Frost was a Democratic member of the Texas House of Representatives. He represented District 1 from 2005 to 2010.
Frost works as an Attorney with Thompson and Frost. He is a member of the Elections Committee for the National Conference of State Legislatures, and Past President of the Atlanta Area Rotary Club and Cass County Bar Association.[1]

Issue positions
Frost did not provide answers to the 2010 Political Courage Test. The test informs voters how a candidate would vote on the issues if elected.[2]

Elections
2010
Frost ran for re-election to the 1st District seat in 2010. He had no opposition in the March 2nd primary. George Lavender ran for the seat on the Republican ticket, and Trent Gale ran for the seat as an Independent. Frost was defeated by Republican challenger George Lavender in the general election on November 2, 2010.[5]

2008
On November 4, 2008, Frost won re-election to the Texas House of Representatives from Texas' 1st District, defeating George Lavender (R) and Tim Eason (L). Frost received 29,598 votes in the election while Lavender received 24,853 votes, and Eason received 781 votes.[6] Frost raised $200,917 for his campaign; Lavender raised $41,622.[7]
