Stephen is a constitutional conservative. He is a lifelong Hoosier and Elkhart County resident. Stephen owns an apparel business and also does deliveries. He stands firm in his constitutional beliefs meaning that the Constitution will be what he follows in the State House. He attended both Concord Community Schools & Indiana Connections Academy.
  • A Representative FOR the PEOPLE. Stephen believes that an elected official should represent the MAJORITY of their constituents NOT personal beliefs while still abiding by the Oath of Office & the Constitutions of Indiana & the United States.
  • Stopping Government Overreach & Ending the State of Emergency - No mask mandates & No forced vaccines. If you decide that it is best based on conversations with your doctor & through research to wear a mask and/or get a vaccination, that should be a personal decision, not a governmental decision.
  • Fighting Unjust Taxes like the Wheel Tax is something that Stephen believes is a key issue. Our roads have not been kept up and it shows by the growing number of potholes & in the winter, the snow & ice covered roads. These are
Stephen Gray is very passionate about Constitutional Rights including the Second Amendment. He believes that without the Second Amendment all of your other rights will be taken from you. The Second Amendment was written to safeguard our liberties as Americans.

Stephen is also passionate about stopping the government overreach and state of emergency that we've been in since March 6, 2020. We should NOT be in a State of Emergency for more than 30 days. The Governor's powers to keep this emergency going are costing hardworking hoosiers their jobs & businesses. What Right does the Governor or Government have to tell me that you are or aren't an essential business or employee because the fact is EVERY SINGLE HOOSIER IS ESSENTIAL! The government should NOT be mandating we take this vaccine or that vaccine because that is a choice that should be reached between Hoosiers and their doctors.

The Wheel Tax is something that we pay to keep our roads in good order but potholes are everywhere! Let's repeal it!

Finally, Stephen is a strong supporter of personal property rights. What does that mean to him? It means that the City, County, State, or Federal Government SHOULDN'T be telling you what you can or can't do on your property. Do you want to exercise your First Amendment Right to express yourselves through signs? Great! Do you want to build a fence? Great! It is YOUR property that YOU paid for and pay property taxes on.

I look up to my dad and brave leaders like Rep. Nisly (R-IN) and President Trump. The reason why I look up to my dad is his experiences in life which I primarily run ideas off of both business and otherwise. I look up to Rep Nisly because he's a true voice of his constituents and holds true to his values. Finally, I've admired President Trump for a long time, even growing up I remember watch The Apprentice and saying "I want to be like him one day", so naturally when he announced he was running I was ecstatic! President Trump showed me that guys like me who are part of the working class can run for office and try to better the good of Indiana & the United States of America.
I'm approachable and willing to learn about everyone's views. That's how a representative should be representing the People in their district.
The qualities that would make me a successful officeholder include my willingness to learn and being open to discussion with people that I both disagree & agree with. That's something that I believe you don't see in many elected officials right now and is a huge reason why I'm running.
The first historical event that happened in my lifetime that I remember was the ruthless attack on our nation on September 11, 2001. I was 5 years old and remember shouting to my dad that the towers had a plane through them and my dad was in disbelief.
Stephen's very first job was shoveling snow, yard work, and walking dogs in the neighborhood he grew up in and Stephen's glad to say that he's still providing pet services 10 years later.
I Call BS On That by Buddy Brown

"...I think our country's been had
And old Ted Nugent can't do it alone
We been trying to tell you now it might be too late

Them politicians run the schools, vote 'em in and bend the rules..."
Easy! Representative Curt Nisly! He holds true to his constituents and is always willing to listen and help out.
The legislature should oversee the use of emergency powers. 2020 has taught us a lot of what needs to be fixed and I aim to do just that.
