|As an engineering student, I want to bring the scientific process to governing. Instead of governing from a place of preconceived notions, I want to lay out an issue, listen to evidence, and then work on a solution with people from both sides of the aisle.
I do not see myself as someone who govern as a Democrat or a Republican but rather as a South Carolinian. We are unique and do not deserve to be placed in a box. I believe we can show the rest of the country what can be done when everyone works together.- My number one care is education and getting it right.
- We need to protect our beautiful coast line and way of life.
- I will fight to ensure everyone has an equal chance at success. When given an even playing field, hard work will always pay off.
Working there taught me a lot about working with others, sticking with something even when it becomes hard, perseverance, and leadership.
