I am a small business owner in Delaware for fifteen years. I am a chiropractor by profession. I live in the Wynwood development. I take care of my 88 year old mom. My son goes to the University of Delaware and he lives with his fiancé in Radnor Green. My future daughter in law works for Christiana Care in the women's health center. So I may not be a life long resident of Delaware, but I am fully vested in being a Delawarean.
  • Primary focus will be improving the status of public education in Delaware.
  • Second important message will be on availability of affordable health care in Delaware.
  • As a doctor I have been listening to people for over 38 years in practice. I will not stop listening now.
I am a good listener and being a small business owner you always have to find solutions to problems.
The main responsibility should be listening to the people that you represent and understanding there concerns. And, being focused on getting things accomplished.
I do remember watching the moon landing in school and the shuttle disaster while in chiropractic college. But the most memorable event was being in the city during September 11th.
As a teenager it was anything to make a buck, mow lawns, rake leaves, wash cars and I even had a paper route. I also worked for a general contractor in the early years. While in college I worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, in a monoclonal antibody lab.
Education will always be a priority and needs to be improved. Also, given the aging population it will be important to consider improving our ranking with regard to elder care.
No, and it might be better if they are not focused on being a career politician and are focused on listening to the concerns of the people they represent.
