Stephen Kane was a justice on the Fifth District of the California Courts of Appeal from 2006 to 2017. He was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on May 2, 2006, and took the oath of office on June 9, 2006.[1][2] He retired in June 2017.

Education

Kane attended the University of Notre Dame and graduated with a B.A. in economics. In 1976, he received his J.D. from Hastings College of the Law.[3]
