My journey began in the Air Force, where I learned the values of integrity, accountability, and service before self. As a Service-Disabled Veteran, those values continue to guide me every day. After more than a decade in uniform, I came home to South Carolina determined to keep serving my community in new ways.

Today, I’m proud to be known as the “Broker for the People.” As the Market Center Team Leader at Keller Williams Greater Charleston and former Broker in Charge at Century 21 Excel, I’ve led a team that has helped more than 1,100 families find homes while mentoring the next generation of real estate professionals. My career has been built on creating opportunities, expanding access to affordable housing, and strengthening communities here in the Lowcountry.

Service doesn’t stop at work. I’ve served as President of the Charleston Area Realtist Association, President-Elect of the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors, and on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lowcountry and Lowcountry Youth Services. I’ve also worked to expand diversity, equity, and inclusion across the real estate industry and mentored countless young leaders. I’m also a published author (Unleash Your Purpose), a national leadership coach, and I’m completing my Doctorate in Leadership at Charleston Southern University.

But above all else, I’m a husband, a father, and a servant leader.
  • Leadership With Purpose – I believe leadership isn’t about titles, it’s about responsibility. My campaign is built on unleashing purpose in public service—putting people over politics and bringing common-sense solutions to the issues that matter most.
  • Experience That Works – As a real estate broker, small business owner, veteran, and community leader, I know how to build, grow, and serve. I bring both professional and lived experience to solve challenges like housing, infrastructure, and education.
  • Advocacy for Our Future – I am committed to fighting for affordable housing, better roads, stronger schools, and a better quality of life. I will be a voice for families, small businesses, and communities that often feel overlooked.
I’m personally passionate about affordable housing, infrastructure, education, and veterans’ issues. Housing is a cornerstone of generational wealth, and I’ve dedicated my professional career to helping people achieve it. Infrastructure—our roads, drainage, and smart growth—is critical for safety and economic growth. Education must prepare our children for tomorrow’s opportunities. And as a veteran, I know firsthand the importance of advocating for those who served.
I look up to leaders who led with conviction and service, like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who taught us that purpose is bigger than ourselves, and John Maxwell, who instilled in me that leadership is influence. I want to model my life after leaders who stood firm in their values while building bridges across differences.
Integrity, accountability, humility, courage, and a heart for service. Leadership without these is empty.
The core responsibility of this office is simple: to serve the people. That means listening to constituents, addressing their real needs, being accountable, and ensuring policy decisions improve their quality of life. It’s not about partisan wins—it’s about people’s lives.
I want my legacy to be that I unleashed purpose in public service! That I left South Carolina more unified, more equitable, and better prepared for the future. I want my children, and the next generation, to say that I built wells of opportunity they could drink from.
The first major event I remember was September 11, 2001. I was 13, in the 8th grade, and I remember the feeling the weight of sadness all around—watching my parents and community talk about war, service, and sacrifice. I also distinctly remember September 12th, where it seems like the community and America came together to take care of one another, rebuild and stand together against terrorism anywhere and everywhere.
My very first job was McDonalds, working the register and learning the basics of customer service. I became a leader pretty quickly and ended in management prior to me leaving for the military. That job taught me discipline, hard work, and how to deal with people—all lessons I still carry today.
Outside of my own, The Bible is my foundation. It grounds my leadership and my purpose.
Tell us your favorite joke.
Balancing the weight of leadership with personal challenges has always been a struggle. But I’ve learned that faith, perseverance, and purpose are what carry you through.
The ideal relationship is one of partnership, not partisanship. The governor sets vision, the legislature brings the voice of the people, and together they should advance policy that benefits all South Carolinians.
Affordable housing and smart growth

Infrastructure and road expansion
Education and workforce readiness
Mental health and healthcare access

Preserving quality of life as our population grows
It’s not required, but it helps. What matters most is real leadership experience, knowing how to solve problems, build consensus, and serve people. My experience in business and community leadership has prepared me for this role.
Absolutely. Nothing meaningful gets done alone. Building strong relationships allows us to collaborate, influence, and bring resources back to our districts.
I would model myself after leaders who led with integrity and courage, like Congressman John Lewis, who never backed down from fighting for people, and local leaders who truly served their communities without ego.
Right now, my focus is on serving District 98. I believe in being faithful with what’s in front of me before seeking the next assignment.

Yes, the legislature should oversee and set limits on emergency powers. Accountability must remain, even in crisis.
