Stephen Kren, Jr.
Stephen Kren, Jr. was a 2014 Republican candidate for District 11 of the Idaho State Senate. Kren previously served in the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 13B from 2006 to 2010.
Kren is the Vice President of Stephen's Electric.
Kren was first involved in politics as a campaign worker for Washington State Representative Delores Crow.

Elections for the Idaho State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on May 20, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 14, 2014. Rita Burns was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Patti Anne Lodge defeated Gregory L. Collett in the Republican primary. Burns was defeated by Lodge in the general election. Steve A. Kren (R) filed to run but did not appear on the primary ballot.[2][3][4]

Kren was defeated by Christy Perry in the Republican primary on May 25th by a margin of 3,398-2,602.[5]

On November 4, 2008, Republican Steve Kren won re-election to the Idaho House of Representatives District 13B receiving 70.2% of the vote (15,353 votes), ahead of Democrat Byron Yankey who received 29.8% of the vote (6,514 votes).[6]
