Stephen Lafferty
Stephen Lafferty is a former Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 42A from 2007 to 2019. Lafferty resigned when Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski Jr. appointed him to serve as the county's chief sustainability officer in August 2019.[1]
Biography
Lafferty's professional experience includes working as Deputy Director of Department of Planning and Zoning in Howard County, Director of the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, Director of Special Projects and Planning, Division of Neighborhood Revitalization, Department of Housing and Community Development, Manager of the Baltimore County Office of Community Conservation, and an attorney.

2014
Elections for the Maryland House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Incumbent Stephen Lafferty faced in the Democratic primary, while Michael A. McAllister was unopposed in the Republican primary. Lafferty defeated McAllister in the general election.[2][3][4]
2010
Lafferty successfully won re-election in the general election on November 2, 2010, taking the third of three seats.[5]
2006
On November 7, 2006, Stephen Lafferty ran for District 42 of the Maryland House of Delegates, winning the second of three seats, losing to Susan Aumann but beating William Frank, Dilip Paliath, Tracy Miller, and Andrew Belt.[6]
