A paper route at age 11. I had it for about 3 years.

Having my car break down in front of her house,and knocking on the door asking to make a phone call..

Christmas, the gift of watching others opening their gifts.

My family mementos. They remind me of who I am, and how I became that person and my dog, Walker, who shows unconditional love every day.

Yes, I have heard too many stories from parents who have lost children to the drug crisis, and of children who are still fighting addiction.
