I am the pastor of King of Saints Church in Cleveland, Texas. I have served in the military for 28 years with two deployments to Iraq. I served three years working on the border mission with the military. I have earned a doctorate and I am the author of several books and am an independent filmmaker.
I am passionate about freedom, especially freedom of religion and freedom of speech, which are under attack, especially by "Big-Tech." We also need border security and we need to support law enforcement. We also need to create economic opportunities and prosperity for all Americans.
I serve Jesus Christ. He is my Lord and Savior. I also admire the Apostle Paul, who was an educated man who was from different cultural backgrounds, both Jewish and Greek, and he changed the world by traveling and writing.
I read a lot and enjoy art and I like to read a lot about people who have influenced history.
The Bible of course, and perhaps TS Eliot's "Idea of a Christian Society." Books and movies written by Dinesh D'Sousa and Victor Davis Hanson
Patriotism, honesty, integrity, and allegiance to the principles of Freedom as written in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights
I am a patriot and a firm believer in the principles of conservative.
To represent the best interest of one's constituents. To be a servant.
I want to be a champion of freedom. But, I primarily want to be an ambassador of the message of love, mercy, and compassion taught by Jesus Christ.
I joined the army soon after graduating from high school and served in the military for 28 years.
I enjoy reading the Bible as a Christian. I believe it is the word of God and guidance for life, especially the Gospels. I have read many great books and am constantly reading.
It would be cool to be a Super Hero with super powers like Superman or Shazam/Captain Marvel. I like heroes who are educated but adventurous, like Indiana Jones, or crusaders for justice like Solomon Kane
I like to listen to classical music. The Carmina Burana stuck in my head today. I also listen to contemporary Christian music and some rock.
I have sustained injuries in military service. I am a disabled veteran and sometimes struggle with pain
The Governor needs to work with the Legislature to forge solutions for Texas. The Governor needs to listen to the legislature as it represents the voices of the people.
I think we need to work to keep Texas "Red." Demographic changes, through the open border, and migration from failed leftist states like California and New York, are causing Texas to trend blue. Conservatives need to be energetic and advocate for convince others why conservativism is the best path forward for Texas.
I believe only one state has a unicameral legislature. I think the Texas system works and needs to be maintained for the future.
I believe that it can be beneficial but not necessary. An outside perspective can be helpful.
We all need to work together to benefit Texas. It is important to cooperate with people who are aligned with conservative solutions
It all needs to be above board to represent population regions and not jerrymandering.
I like Jerry Clower's "God's gonna take care of me" joke.
Yes. We can't have unrestrained executive power.
Compromise is necessary in order to advance policy and write laws. However, there are certain values, such as honesty and life, that must not be compromised.
