Prior to becoming a judge for the Superior Court of Los Angeles County, Pfahler worked at various Los Angeles law firms including Bannan, Green, Frank and Terzian where he practiced civil litigation, Adams, Duque & Hazeltine, and Lebeouf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae.[3]
