Stephen R. Mitchell was an associate judge for the 35th Circuit Court in Stoddard County, Missouri.[1] He was re-elected in 2014 to a four-year term.[2] Mitchell retired from the court in September 2017.[3]

Biography

Mitchell earned his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Missouri.[4]

Mitchell ran for re-election to the 35th Judicial Circuit Court, Stoddard County associate judge position.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on August 5, 2014, receiving 51.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Bradley Jarrell.
General: He was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. [2][5]

Mitchell ran unsuccessfully for election to the 35th Circuit Court.[6] He was unopposed in the primary, but was defeated by Robert Mayer in the November 6th election.[7][8]
