Stephen Raslavich was a judge for the United States bankruptcy court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He was appointed October 29, 1993, and reappointed to a 14-year term in 2007. He retired October 2, 2017.[1]

Raslavich was elevated and served as chief judge from March 1, 2008, to February 28, 2013. Eric L. Frank succeeded Raslavich in this position March 1, 2013.[2][3][4][5]

Education

Raslavich earned a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Villanova University.[6]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Raslavich worked as an attorney at a private practice firm. He also served as a member of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania's Chapter 7 Trustee panel. For a time, Raslavich worked as a certified public accountant.[2]
